Love is everything, passion, joy, life…..according to Addison. Love…‘Tis second life, it grows into the soul. Warms every vein, and beats in every pulse. If love is the poetry of the senses, then public speaking as its messenger can intoxicate and envelop its listeners. It’s all about the speaker’s mindset. As public speakers we must enjoy, seeing and touching our listener’s minds and hearts with our words and thoughts. We must stimulate their senses with an emotional impact that is unafraid and a sweetness that pours into every breath. We must feel love in our hearts in order to uplift forcibly our inner strength as speakers, fearlessly.
We must speak with open arms and happiness full of conviction. We can be empowered by sharing our deepest self with an audience offering them our heart, and our true inner being. Public speaking can offer comfort in sadness, quietness in tumult, rest in weariness, and hope in despair.
Love can help us survive in these difficult times. Our audiences are a mirror reflection of what we are experiencing. Positivity can nurture joy. When we are able to open our listener’s minds and change feelings of hopelessness with our words, transformation can take place.
Now more than ever, our messages of ‘love is now’ according to Sophocles, can help to free us of all the weight and pain of life.
Loving your audiences and being loved in return, can bring warmth and richness to our lives
