Keep Short Speeches Joyful

December is a busy month filled with parties, socializing, shopping, entertaining and getting ready for bringing in the New Year.  We make lists of New Years resolutions determined to fulfill them. Let 2019 be the year you take positive action and achieve your goals.  Public Speaking with short speeches are often required for giving toasts, end of year celebrations and messages of gratitude with best wishes for good health and joy.  These short speeches often go flat and instead of being uplifting they become discouraging instead of hopeful, negative not positive, offering half empty platitudes in place of half filled nuances.

short speechesHere are three tips for keeping short speeches joyful:

  1.  Don’t focus on the challenges we face in the New Year.  Spotlight the accomplishments we have achieved.
  2.  Practice our determination to continually try to do our best not to become complacent with mediocrity.
  3.  The goal is to continually Visualize, Practice and Achieve your SUCCESS.

Best Wishes For A Healthy, Happy Holiday Season.
